The Ministry condemns, in the strongest terms, all acts of violence, particularly those targeting children. We reiterate our unwavering commitment to protecting women and children and to ensuring that perpetrators are held accountable under the law.

At this time, the matter remains under active investigation by the Liberia National Police. The Ministry urges the public and media practitioners to exercise restraint, avoid speculation, and respect the privacy and dignity of the victim and her family during this difficult period.

The Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection will continue to work closely with the Liberia National Police and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that justice is served and that the family receives all necessary support.
