Education Minister, Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah says there is a critical need to enhance standardized reporting across the school system.
Speaking recently at the Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, Dr. Jallah highlighted the importance of comprehensive reports from each county, providing valuable insights into enrollment figures and local school system challenges.

“This call to action was reinforced by updates from County Education Officers, underlining the central role of accountability and governance in these processes,” she said.
Minister Jallah also stressed the need for the school feeding program in boosting enrollment and improving access to quality education nationwide.

She said the ministry is developing strategic measures to support school feeding programs across the country as a way of strengthening enrollment and create optimal learning environment.
Jallah commended the County Education Officers for their dedication and hard work in driving organizational success.
She emphasized the importance of efficiency and effectiveness in achieving results in today’s competitive landscape.

She expressed appreciation to voluntary teachers for their selfless contributions to education initiatives and their crucial role in enhancing education quality and promoting continuous skill development to create a more impactful learning environment.

Dr. Jallah highlighted the importance of aligning national examination results, such as the WASSCE and WAEC, with intended learning outcomes to ensure fair and accurate assessments of students’ knowledge and skills. This will advance educational excellence and students’ success.
Meanwhile, County Education Officers (CEO) pledged to prioritize the ministry’s agenda for quality and accessible education for all Liberians.

For his part, Mr. David Boakai, the head of the CEOs, applauded Minister Jallah for endorsing their hard work and high level of professionalism and assured full compliance with the new reporting template for timely and appropriate reporting.
