The Government of Liberia is rolling out the installation of modern digital x-ray machines at various health facilities across the country, with the Jackson F. Doe Memorial Referral Hospital in Nimba County and the Tellowayan Memorial Hospital in Lofa County being the latest to benefit from such initiative.
A technical team from the JNB Foundation and MOH’s Biomedical Division led the upgrade on Saturday, June 14, 2025. This new development will improve diagnostic services and patient care across these counties. According to a release, the initiative is part of the Ministry of Health commitment to providing quality, affordable, and reliable healthcare service delivery to all citizens and residents across Liberia.
Meanwhile, the Lofa County Health System and the administration of Tellowayan Memorial Hospital proudly welcomed and appreciated the installation of the state-of-the-art digital X-ray machine donated by the JNB Foundation.
