The Chairman Emeritus of the f National Patriotic Party, (NPP) Chief Cyril Allen, has criticized President Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s administration for poorly handling the country.

Allen disclosed that he has not communicated with President Boakai for several months, attributing his silence to dissatisfaction with the President’s handling of state affairs.

He emphasized that the Liberian people elected Boakai with the hope that he would bring positive change to the country.

However, he argues that the Unity Party government under Boakai, has failed to deliver any significant progress in the last six months.

According to Allen, President Boakai is surrounded by those he describes as ‘a bunch of unscrupulous bureaucrats of the old order and entrenched underachievers.’

He criticized these officials for their lack of innovation, dynamism, and their tendency to undermine beneficial initiatives.

“We are warning. We are warning.” Allen declared, expressing his frustration with the current administration.

He also took a personal jab at President Boakai, pointing out that at nearly 80 years old, seeking employment in such a high position suggests a lack of prior success and achievement.

Allen’s remarks come amid growing public frustration with the perceived stagnation and lack of progress in Liberia. Many citizens have echoed this sentiments, calling for more effective leadership and tangible improvements in their daily lives.

The criticism highlights the mounting pressure on President Boakai to address these concerns and demonstrate a commitment to the development and well-being of Liberia.
