The Bong County Bar Association has elected new badge of officers for the next three years. Those elected are Cllr. Jonestone McGill, President, Vice President Atty. Jeremiah Samuel- Dugbo I., Secretary, Atty. Facia B. Harris, and Treasurer, Atty. Zinnah B. Sackie.

With this resounding vote of confidence, Atty. Jeremiah Samuel Dugbo, I., an unassuming figure in Bong County’s legal community was elected as the new Vice President of the Bong County Bar Association.

Atty. Dugbo prestigious position places him as the second-in-command for the legal professionals of Bong County origin, marking the beginning of a three-year term filled with ambitious goals and a commitment to progressive leadership.

Remarking after his election, Atty. Dugbo expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity, describing his election as “incredibly humbling.” Acknowledging the “Herculean challenges” that lie ahead, he promised his colleagues that with their support, he would uphold his commitment to integrity, service and progressive change.

“This is not just a victory for me, but a shared journey toward a stronger, more impactful bar association,” emphasizing a vision of unity and advocacy that he hopes will shape his tenure.

Atty. Dugbo is a senior attorney at J. Johnny Momoh & Associates Legal Chambers, Inc. and is well-regarded as a dynamic legal consultant and attorney with a broad spectrum of expertise.

The Bong Bar’s new VP practice areas span property, commercial, employment, criminal, and family law, making him one of the most versatile legal minds within the Bong County Bar Association.

With his legal practice, Atty. Dugbo has made significant contributions to legal reforms and policy development, with expertise in legal research, law reform, policy analysis, legislative and regulatory drafting, compliance, audit assurance, human resource management, and mediation.

Atty. Dugbo’s legal career has been marked by a passion for justice and a dedication to advancing the field of law in Liberia. His background also includes distinguished service in leadership during his time as a student; he previously served as both Vice President and President of the Law Students Association. These formative roles laid the groundwork for a career defined by advocacy, collaboration, and a drive for legal excellence.

As he steps into his role as Vice President of the Bong County Bar Association, Atty.
