In an effort to address the issue of bad road network across its concession areas, Bea Mountain Mining Corporation (BMMC) has embarked on the construction and rehabilitation of several roads in Grand Cape Mount County.
One of such roads is the Weajue/Mafala Road rehabilitation in Gola Konneh District, which commenced on Monday, 8 April 2024. The Company is also expected to rehabilitate the Managorduah road.
Speaking shortly after the commencement of the road work, Mr. Z. Marley Dowah, Land Representative and the Chairman of Weajue Steering Committee,
Mr. Varney She, lauded BMMC for the initiative.
The local leaders said the intervention by Bea Mountain is timely and the best time to combat bad roads in the county.
