Bea Mountain Mining Corporation (BMMC) has initiated the construction of water facilities in Kinjor and other communities.
The water tower construction was launched by BMMC’s Government and Community Affairs Manager, Alpaslan Özbilge on 20 March 2024.
The launching of the water facility in Kinjor was witnessed by Grand Cape Mount County District #2 Representative, Mohammed Dosii and community leaders.
Speaking during the launching program, Mr. Özbilge said when the project is completed, it will help address the issue of water in various communities in Kinjor.
For his part, Representative Dosii thanked BMMC for the initiative. He appealed to the citizens to remain peaceful and allow the company to carry on development within its host communities.
Representative Dosii requested that the citizens to form themselves into a committee that will directly engage the management of Bea Mountain in cases where there are issues of concern.
At the same time, citizens of Kinjor have lauded Bea Mountain for the intervention, stressing that the move is timely.
