The University of Liberia Center for Testing and Evaluation (CTE) has released the results of the November 22, 2025, Entrance and Placement Examination, with a total of 3,277 or 40.97 percent of candidates passing successfully.  The current results show that 1,747 female candidates or (53.31 percent) made successful pass for the undergraduate category.

In the last entrance exam administered on July 12, 2025, 1,415 females, constituting 50.41 percent, passed successfully, compared to their male counterparts, 1,392 (49.59 percent).  The November 22, 2025 results also record a significant reduction in the number of candidates who were unsuccessful compared to the July, 2025 Entrance Exam.

That result recorded 24 percent success and 76 percent failure, respectively, out of the 12,516 who sat the exam in July 2025. For the November 22, 2025 entrance, the CTE reports that 8,308 candidates registered for the Undergraduate category.  Of that number, 310 or (3.73 percent) candidates were absent, while 7,998 or (96.27 percent) wrote the exam. Of the 7,998 who wrote the exam, 3, 277 (40.97 percent) candidates successfully passed, while 4,339 (54.25 percent) were unsuccessful.

Additionally, 380 or (4.75 percent) wrongly shaded their exam numbers, while 2 or (0.03 percent) were disqualified due to exam malpractices, according to the CTE. The results also indicate that of the 3,277 candidates (40.97 percent) candidates, 1,530 (46.69 percent) candidates are males, while 1,747 (53.31 percent) candidates are females.

The results further show that all four visually impaired candidates who wrote the Paper-based undergraduate entrance exam passed. In a similar development, 69 candidates registered for the David A. Stratz-Sinje Technical and Vocational College Entrance Exam. Four (5.80 percent) candidates were absent.

Of the 65 candidates who wrote the exam, 41 (63.08 percent) successfully passed. Two (3.08 percent) candidates were unsuccessful, while 5 (7.69 percent) are qualified to do a remedial program in both Mathematics and English. Eight (12.31 percent) candidates qualified to do a remedial program in English, while 9 (13.85 percent) candidates qualified to do a remedial program in Mathematics.

This means that all 3,277 candidates or (40.97) candidates made either a Regular Pass or a Provisional Pass and are therefore eligible to apply for admission. To be considered successful in the exam, a candidate must score at least 60 percent in Mathematics and at least 70 percent in English.

For the Graduate School Aptitude Test, 229 candidates registered. Eleven or (4.80 percent) candidates were absent and 218 or (95.20 percent) candidates wrote the test.  Of the number of candidates who wrote the test, 132 (60.55 percent) successfully passed, while 86 (39.45 percent) were unsuccessful. 89 (67.42 percent) candidates were males, and 43 (32.58 percent) candidates were females.

Additionally, the CTE reported that 310 candidates registered for the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law Aptitude Test. 12 (3.73 percent) candidates were absent, while 298 (96.13 percent wrote the test.  Of the 298 candidates, 101 (33.89%) are successful, 196 (65.77 %) are unsuccessful, and one (0.34 %) candidate was disqualified due to misconduct.

Seventy-four (73.27 percent) candidates are males, while 27 (26.73 percent) are females. Thirty-four (32.69%) of the total candidates who passed are females, and seventy (67.31%) are males.  The results further indicate that the T.J.R. Faulkner College of Science and Technology also retained the highest number of successful candidates, 1,304 (39.79 percent), followed by the A. Romeo Horton College of Business and Public Administration, with 1,163 (35.49( percent.
