Supreme Court’s Marshall Retirement Approved

President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has approved the retirement of Brigadier General Amos B.K. Dickson, Sr., Marshall of the Supreme Court of Liberia. The approval follows a recommendation submitted by Chief Justice Yamie Quiqui Gbeisay, Sr., in a letter on December 9, 2025. Brigadier General Dickson has rendered thirty-eight (38) years of distinguished and dedicated service to the Government and people of Liberia through the Supreme Court.  The President expressed appreciation for his years of service and steadfast commitment to national duty. All actions taken are consistent with Section 14.1 of the Judiciary Law (1972) and the President’s constitutional authority, exercised with the advice and consent of the Senate where applicable.

According to an Executive Mansion release, the Government of Liberia remains resolute in upholding good governance, the rule of law, and the integrity of public institutions.
