The Ministry of Education has launched the new Digital Platform for School Operational Permits, marking a major step toward faster, fairer, and more accessible school registration for all school owners across Liberia. Speaking at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex over the weekend, Minister of Education, Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah emphasized that long journeys to Monrovia, unclear paperwork, and months of waiting are becoming a thing of the past.
The new system allows schools to apply for and renew permits online, creating a transparent and traceable process rooted in better public service. This innovation aligns with the Ministry’s commitment under the ARREST Agenda to rebuild trust, strengthen governance, and modernize service delivery. It also advances President Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s call to Think Liberia, Love Liberia, Build Liberia by putting efficiency and accountability at the center of education management.
The Ministry extends appreciation to Smile Solutions, County and District Education Officers for their support. The launch begins a new chapter in the Ministry’s relationship with schools, built on transparency, service, and shared responsibility for Liberia’s learners, a statement said.
