The Community Engagement Services at the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS), in collaboration with the Department of Naturalization Revenues, have ended a 2-day awareness program aimed at educating the public on immigration-related issues and promoting compliance. The program, which was held in West Point, brings together stakeholders from various backgrounds to discuss and raise awareness on key issues affecting the immigration sector.

The awareness program is part of the LIS’s efforts to engage with the community, promote transparency, and provide education on immigration laws and regulations. The Department of Naturalization Revenues also used the opportunity to sensitize the public on the importance of acquiring proper documentation and complying with immigration requirements.

The two-day program feature discussions, presentations, and interactive sessions, providing participants with a platform to share their experiences and insights on how to improve the immigration system. Meanwhile the Community Engagement Services and the Department of Naturalization Revenues are committed to working together to promote awareness and education on immigration-related issues, ultimately contributing to the development of a more efficient and effective immigration system in Liberia.
