“Mr. Vice President, we watch and see how you mourn; the Liberian Senate is saying the widow and his children need your direction. The people of Nimba are also weeping and need leadership, and the county is looking up to you to provide leadership. You will continue to cry but at this moment, we ask you to take and provide the leadership your people need,” he said.
For his part, Majority Bloc House Speaker Richard N. Koon said the late senator was a remarkable statesman who contributed to the people of Nimba and Liberia.
