Non-profit organization, Adding Hearts Inc., has donated twenty bags of rice to the Muslim and Disabled Communities in Sinkor.

At the Vamoma House on Monday, April 1, 2024, the group presented rice to the old folks and disabled community in order to help them feed.

The Chief Executive Officer of Adding Hearts Inc. said giving has been her goal since she was a tender age which has driven her to this level.

CEO Thelma Jartu Bestman: “Seeing myself in another country can only motivate me to do more and it is the reason I am in Liberia.

She said in the coming months, she will see how best the organization can be extended to other parts of Liberia to help suffering mothers and families. She disclosed that the donation is worth at US$1,500.

The Chairperson of the old folks said members normally wait at street corners to beg alms help with food. According to Madam Esther Edward, many people can help, but they choose not to, thanking Adding Hearts Inc. for the timely venture.

“Good doesn’t lose; whatever this group has put together in order to help us will not be in vain, but the Almighty God will surely bless them whenever they need,” she added.

Madam Edward narrated that they are facing serious challenges including school and better living conditions.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Matilda Community Mousque said, “it is important to give to people when they need help. By doing so, God will surely bless you.”

Chairman Mohammed Bility narrated that since they began their fast, Adding Heart Inc. is the first to make such a donation.
As head of the mosque, he promised to make sure that whatever is received is given to the beneficiaries as a way of living the true will of Islam.
