The Liberian Senate will on June 6, 2024 converge in the port city of Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, for a four-day retreat. The retreat runs up to June 9.
According to the Senate Press Bureau, the retreat will be held under the theme: ‘Ensuring a robust Senate Oversight’. It is aimed at making revitalization plans of the County Development Fund which is geared towards positively impacting the wellbeing of Liberians.
The senators will also review and amend the Senate rules where possible, as well as place its modernization vision in proper perspectives.
The Press Bureau said during the four-day retreat senators will endeavor to discuss and produce amongst other things, a compelling roadmap agenda which will address an effective decision-making goal.
