4Life Zoe Technical Vocational Training School, one of Liberia’s leading vocational institutions, has celebrated its 10th anniversary in Montserrado County with a colorful ceremony attended by hundreds of supporters, students, graduates, and well-wishers.
The celebration marked a decade of commitment to vocational education and skills development across Liberia and showcased the institution’s growth and contribution to youth empowerment over the years.
As part of the anniversary activities, students and supporters participated in a major parade from the school’s headquarters in Peace Island through the main streets along Somalia Drive. The parade created an atmosphere of excitement and celebration as participants proudly displayed banners, school insignias, and messages highlighting the institution’s achievements over the past ten years.
Speaking to journalists during the program, the institution’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Francis Varney expressed gratitude to God for the remarkable growth and success of the institution since its establishment. According to Mr. Varney, the school started with a vision to provide quality technical and vocational education to young Liberians and has continued to expand despite numerous challenges.
He stated that faith, determination, and commitment have remained the foundation behind the institution’s steady progress and expansion across the country. “Within just ten years, God has taken the school from one level to another across Liberia,” CEO Varney stated.
He disclosed that the institution currently operates in several counties, including Nimba County, Grand Bassa County, Grand Cape Mount County, Margibi County, and Montserrado County.
The CEO also revealed that plans are underway by the administration to expand the institution’s operations to additional counties across Liberia, with the objective of increasing access to quality vocational and technical education for young people nationwide.
He stated that vocational education remains essential to national development because it equips young people with practical skills that can enable them to become self-reliant and contribute positively to society.
Students and graduates who attended the celebration praised the institution for helping transform their lives through technical and professional training opportunities. Several attendees described the school as a center of empowerment that continues to inspire young Liberians to pursue productive careers and entrepreneurship.
