4Life Zoe  Technical Training Program, one of Liberia’s fastest growing and leading vocational training schools, will in March first week embark on two days of intensive practical mobile training for  rural dwellers.

Speaking with the school’s Chief Executive Officer Francis Varney over the weekend, he said the mobile training was designed to address some of the challenges confronting rural dwellers in Liberia, mainly the issue of capacity building.

According to him, the two-day intensive practical mobile training will focus only on satellite dish installation, solar light installation and biodigester construction.

When questioned about the amount of days intended for the training, he responded by saying that he learned his in foreign country for just three hours. “Two days is enough to learn these things”, he added.

The training will be done in six of the following counties: Grand Bassa, Bomi, Margibi, Bong, Nimba, and Maryland. Still on training at 4Life Zoe Technical Training Program, the school is expected to also provide free training at the Montserrado Correction Bureau.

The objective of the exercise is that those serving their time in jail would have the opportunity to acquire vocational skills. Accordingly, after such training the school will provide packages for those trainees in various areas of disciplines.
